Testimonials: Massage

Your massage session with us may be different from what you may have experienced with other manual therapists. Our methodology is based on the principal that movement must accompany fascial and muscular change. During your session, you will often be asked to move, breath, stretch, actively resist and do some movement re-education. By processing the work immediately, your body will integrate the work faster and you will move better and perform better. Our clients may not be able to describe how we do it, but they definitely appreciate the results:

Thank you! I have not felt this good in weeks. I stopped any squatting and deadlifting exercises in August because of my hip and my back – obviously both are related. I have tried foam rolling, soft balls….some relief but not nearly enough. And now, for the past two days, my warm ups have felt great…Today, after each set, nothing. Nothing. No twinge. No spasm. Nothing….Things were just really, really tight and you managed to get me to open up and release all of that junk. – Emily S., gym owner

Wow, I can really see some differences already. I am most aware of my body during yoga (no surprise), so there was one huge thing I noticed during Bikram last night. Usually I have my face at about 45 degrees, half smooshed into the floor (on the right side).  Last night I could turn it so I could actually breathe!  It felt like a small miracle! – Hilary B., yoga apparel store owner

I had a competition two weeks away that I didn’t think I would be able to attend. Fortunately, I found Geoff and after only two sessions, I was almost completely pain free; pain free enough to compete and WIN the competition!
I would recommend Geoff to anyone looking for a different approach to pain relief. I am now back to almost 100% and credit Geoff for getting me there. – Angie, CrossFit owner

We want the work you receive to have a remarkable impact on the way you move, walk, run, bike, dance, squat, etc. but we never start with any preconceived notion of what can happen. You, as the client, have to be fully present in the session to make the change happen. Come visit us and lets begin the process!

Testimonials: Training

Geoff has been a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for ten years. He loves to share his enthusiasm with sports and strength training with his clients. He wants everyone to lead a healthy, fun-filled life. Unfortunately, consistency with training and knowing what to do are the major limiting factors that keep people from reaching these goals. Geoff has helped many clients correct postural imbalances, move more efficiently, and improve their strength. Here’s a comment from a recent client:

I had just finished weeks of physical therapy due to an injury to my knee that was caused by poor exercising efforts of my own. I didn’t pay enough attention to warming up and stretching, so I decided I really needed someone to help me.

When I came in all I knew was that I needed to be more physically fit. I wanted to be able to pick up my two-year-old granddaughter without hurting my back or anything else. Fortunately, Geoff is the soul of patience. He got me started at a low level that I could manage and has consistently moved me up to more challenging weights as I got stronger. – Roz W.
