Geoff Pritchard
Geoff Pritchard noticed a demand for high-quality massage and corrective exercise services and opened up Charm City Massage in January 2013. He previously owned and operated Move Free Massage in a neighborhood of Boston, MA called Jamaica Plain.
His goal is to educate clients on better training and recovery methods. Whether you enjoy road biking, CrossFit workouts, yoga, or simply being an active parent, Geoff is working hard to create fitness superstars!
Qualifications
Geoff Pritchard has ten years of experience working at health clubs, corporate wellness centers, and private training studios. His certifications include:
- Personal Trainer – National Strength and Conditioning Association
- Movement Coach – Level 1 Functional Movement Screen
- Running Coach – Road Runners Club of America
- Massage Therapist – National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
Geoff incorporates functional movement patterns and high intensity training into his workout routines to help build strength, power, and improve posture. His massage sessions incorporate therapeutic massage techniques (myofascial release, deep tissue, and active isolated stretching) to help alleviate muscle aches, reduce muscular tension, and help restore physical balance in the body.
Lifestyle
Outside of work, Geoff enjoys playing soccer, cooking healthy Paleo meals, and spending time with his wife and 3 year old son. He also likes watching the Orioles and Ravens, going to the Hippodrome, and breaking up his afternoons with workouts at the Padonia Brick Bodies and Cockeysville Bikram Yoga. If you ever want to talk about business or bodywork, Geoff would be happy to meet for an afternoon coffee (or bite of sushi!).
